In 1985, Jim Mellody dreams up the idea of a neighborhood pub where friends and families could gather to enjoy good food and sports in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Today, there are Beef's popping up all over the country. Call it the "Luck of the Irish" with a lot of hard work thrown in.
