'Departed', now 'No Country For Old Men' is this a trend for violent academy Best Picture awards?
There had to be a better film.
Does evil escape?
I would not recommend anyone see this.
One star for the acting.

Great Villain portrayal, one of the most brutal best since Francis Dolarhyde in Red Dragon, Tommy Udo in the orgiginal Kiss of Death played by Richard Widmark.
1. Who was the man in the wheelchair, named Ellis? How was he related to Tommy Lee Jones' character?
2. Who finally got the money?
3. Was Brolin's wife killed too, by the way the killer looked at his boots coming out of the door?

True to the book, it is a movie that asks bold questions, and does not give simple answers. Outstanding screenplay, direction and acting.

Good movie with a lot of action and interesting story line. The acting is also very good, but it completely falls apart at the end.

Many stars which means Hollywood will think its good even if its bad. I am sure this is on the Oscar train, but I wouldn't say its the best show of the year.

Great movie. Interesting ending. Baby Boomers will love this one.

This is a great movie but it is challenging on many levels. On one level it is a flawlessly acted and scripted action drama and on the other hand it is a studied and careful statement about the nature of the American character. Mesmerizing performances from all the players.

A total let down!!! I kept waiting for a climax and nothing. Great actors and actresses, but the story line was just ridiculous!!! Don't waste your money.
