Jeremy Lister

As the son of a preacher, Nashville-based singer/songwriter Jeremy Lister spent his formative years immersed in music, picking apart notes and chord changes while writing songs with his piano-playing older brother, Richie. After relocating to Nashville in 2003, Lister began exploring different musical styles, eventually recording an EP called Shooting Star. He put out another EP (So Far) in 2005 that caught the ear of Warner Bros. Records, resulting in 2007's Just One Day EP. His full-length major-label debut, stocked with his signature melodic, emotionally charged pop, arrived the following year. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
